Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about how rVAS works and its specifications.

Can I use rVAS on iPhone, Android, or the web?

rVAS is currently available as a native app for iPad only.

Is an internet connection required?

No. rVAS can be used offline.

Where is my data stored?

Project settings, subject information, and experiment results are stored only on your device. There’s no cloud sync.

How do I get my experiment data out?

Export it as an XLSX file with two sheets: a result sheet for analysis and a settings sheet summarizing your configuration.

What happens after the free trial ends?

All features are available for 14 days from the first launch, with no purchase required. After the trial ends, you can still view your existing data and export it as XLSX files. An active subscription is required to create new projects or start new experiments.

Can I still access my data after my subscription ends?

Yes. After your subscription ends, you can still view your existing data and export it as XLSX files. An active subscription is required to create new projects or start new experiments.

Can I transfer my data to another device?

At present, rVAS does not support automatic data syncing or migration between devices. Because research data is stored locally on the device, we recommend exporting and saving your results as XLSX files before moving to a new device.

Is rVAS a medical device?

No. rVAS is not a medical device and is not intended for use in diagnosis or treatment.

How can I report a bug?

To report a bug or submit a feature request, please contact the developer directly at piyopy.lab@gmail.com.

Can I restore my purchase?
